M-Class Designs

The Lenard M-Class range of systems are ideal for professional and studio applications but are also suitable for broader professional, commercial and domestic use. All M-Class systems are integrated and 4-way active achieving optimum ratings of the Lenard Audio Application Standards©, key attributes; intelligibility, spectral energy balance, harmonic detail, bass discernment and directivity control. The musical performance is identical to the Opal class systems but with particular focus on intelligibility and articulation.

The aesthetics of the M-Class range are a result of form following function while leveraging smart design features that minimise footprint and maximise power and range capacity.

As fully integrated systems, they are easily connected to multiple source options and able to be used with or without pre-amps, mixing consoles or external DAC's. The easily accessible crossover controls allow the listener or engineer to make level adjustments to the crossover range frequencies to suit the purpose, their listening preferences, the environment and the application.

Monitor (near-field)

Overview

Our near-field monitor design is an integrated and compact 4-way active monitoring system specified for close range listening and ideally suited for professional recording and mixing. However, this system is also perfectly applicable to domestic, home cinema and small commercial applications with minor adjustments to driver components.

The design of this system with the 2in compression driver and horn provide a level of detailed clarity and separation of each instrument, voice and note that enable the artists and engineer to take complete command of their creations. Removing the burden of compression and distortion, the creative canvas is opened up to infinite scale.

The base specification has the directivity control set for near-field listening but this can be easily adjusted to suit wider listening applications.

All electronics are contained within the cabinets. A ported bass outlet provides additional bass range and a separate sub-bass can be added, effectively turning the near-field into a fully 4-way active system. Individual and easily accessible level controls allow you to set output levels for each frequency band to suit your environment and requirements. Direct input connections to the mixing console and music source enables easy and simple set-up and placement.

The performance of this system is simply magnificent, matching that of the Opal-Class and achieving a dynamic range far, far greater than its compact size can let you imagine.

The Master design is an integrated 4-way active reference system ideally suited for professional studio mastering, small to mid-sized professional venues and hi-end domestic applications. The versatility of this design enables it to easily adapt across environments where full-fidelity of sound is required. When paired with the near-field monitor, the Master system provides seamless integration throughout the recording process, ensuring full-fidelity and the full dynamic range, realism and transparency of the recording is maintained.

The Master includes D-class amplification, power supply and active crossover contained within the cabinets. Individual and easily accessible level controls allow you to set output levels for each frequency band to suit your environment and requirements.
